No JJ that motor was not souped up, you started dropping the sbc and ended with bbc in the nova. It was too obvious on TV watching you guys put it in, two different intakes

I just love cast pistons 9.5 to 1 compression stock rods and rod bolts and rebuilt the motor without removing the crankshaft timing chain or cover then added the largest nitrous kit plate kit on the market with the same original piston rings but new rod bearings and lifters

I'm having a hard time accepting that JJ tore apart a worn out sbc 350 , bought rings and bearings and then expected to make 800 h.p with a shot of nitrous. The stock 400 turbo with a new converter able to handle that 800 h.p was a hoot too. Most people who watch this type of show race too and it's hard to take some of the crap you are dishing out.

Something isn’t right here. He’s claiming that the internals in that bottom end are basically stock right ?? He’s not dumb enough to believe that he can throw 2 kits on that motor consistently. That cast crank wouldn’t handle those big shots he’s planning.

Yeah I'm sure he is using that old iron block 350 with flat top pistons, whatever mystery cam was already in it, and just threw a intake, carb, headers and spray the shit out of it with nitrous.
