I love there cheese steaks. I dont personally know Nick of Captin Gus but they are like family to my dads family. The Alfred And Sam bakery is just awesome. I love that they have kept there suppliers. I have loved being able to have a greatly made cheese steak.

Not sure how I stumbled on this video but only had Capt Gus once. It's a cheesesteak. Speeds is #1 in Lancaster, PA, but IMO that depends on where you live. People in the west side always go for Capt Gus, us Eastsiders, know Speeds is 👑

Plus the place was dirty. I went to use the Men's room and wasn't sure if I wanted to pee in that bathroom, gross. Health inspector would have a ball there. ADVOID at all costs. This Pete dude saying it's one of the best steak sandwich places in Lancaster needs to get a new job. I won't believe any of his posts on restaurants to eat in Lancaster.

I went there today. It was the worse chees steak I ever ate. A large was like a hot dog full of garbage. The cheese was ok but the sauce was bland and I bought a large and it was over $7.00  and it was a waste. I bought my wife one and my daughter 3 chicken strips and when I was getting ready to pay them I saw a sign that read, Peanut Allergy cause they use peanut oil so my wife and daughter could have died or got real sick. Now this sign wasn't anywhere near the menu on the wall. It was on the exhaust vent above the grill. Bad why to warn the customers before they place an order. I'll [post some picks one day and you can see what a large looks like, seemed like a thin bun with 2 minute steaks in it. Like to know why the pick of the guy doing an article on FB had a big thick steak and I got shit really. 2 steaks, 2 orders of chicken pieces and 2 fries. Almost $30 and I had more meat in my double cheese burger from McDonalds then a large steak.
