recently I got obsess with the term "time flies". I just read a comment 5 minutes ago saying nostalgia was the best and worst feeling. It's confusing to me since looking back at the past give me motivation but is also what holding me back, I really wanna go back but of course I can't so my only option is to move on. I'm still doing great nowadays and enjoying my life even when I have to face challenge but sometimes I feel warmer inside when I think of my happiest time in my life.
This playlist is the excellent example of nostalgia, it has been with me for a very long time and I can cry just by listening to just such songs. Keep on whoever read to this part, think positively even when the worst things happen.

Between 1892 and '93 Claude Monet depicted the same church, the Rouen Cathedral in Normandy, about 30 times (all different paintings) in various moments of the day/seasons. His aim was to understand how different lighting conditions could affect the appearance of the same object, thus changing the viewer perception.

With this album Ujico did something very similar to that, in my opinion. It MUST be recognized as a work of art indeed. The compositional effort is undoubtedly admirable: the SAME melody has been "reconditioned" to produce different rhythmic patterns, different instruments layout, different melodic embellishments and chord changes, different styles and as a result... completely different emotions are conveyed to the listener for each single track. Thanks to that the album doesn't feel like "the same melody" repeated many times, but rather 10 completely original tracks full of details to enjoy. I really appreciated this album as well as many other Ujico's works, though I'm more of a jazz/classical music lover, but musical pieces of art have no genre.
