A Vintage Feel For A Relatively Low Price | Jazz Archtop Guitar Review
Показать описание
In this video, I review a cool, modern archtop from Guild that is basically a replica of one of their older models that were made in the USA. This particular Guild X-175 was made in the last 15 years in Korea and has since been discontinued. That being said, these guitars are in the $1,000 range and can be picked up used on Reverb. I happen to like several things about this guitar, including the price point. However, the overall tone of the archtop does not knock my socks off. This guitar would be a very solid archtop for gigging or for a beginner jazz player. Let me know what you think about it. Leave me a comment, and thanks for watching!!

About Rich:
Originally from the L.A. area, Rich has been playing professionally and teaching guitar for over thirty years. His education includes years of college and private instruction with a variety of teachers, including Mitch Holder, Ted Greene, Joe Pass, and Charlie Shoemake, to name a few. He feels education is a continuing process. There's always more to learn. Wes Montgomery, Joe Pass, Howard Roberts, Ted Greene, and Larry Carleton have all influenced his playing.
Rich has won honorable mentions and awards in songwriting and served as president of the Ventura County Producers and Songwriters Guild. Touring for three years with "Dick Clark's Good Old Rock and Roll Show," he had the opportunity to perform with Bo Diddley, Chuck Berry, Little Anthony, and many other great, old-time rock and rollers.
The years of experience and knowledge he can share with you will
help you be the player you always dreamed you'd be.
