I've been a teacher in Brazil for 2 years and a half and then I heard about all the courses Greystone College has. You can ask questions all the time and the teachers are always available. We have two Cambridge courses: one of them will focus on adults, and the other one will focus on children or young learners. I already done 2 months TKT in TKT course and my teacher they really care about the student. If you plan on staying in Canada and teaching, a TESOL course is probably best because that's what most of the schools in Canada require for teachers here. That can also help you overseas because it's a recognized credential. They were accredited and also the length of the program suited what I wanted to do. When students do peer teaching and practicum placements, they get hands-on experience about what it's like to be a teacher in a classroom. They will plan lessons, they will plan activities, think about how to organize and manage their classroom. You get to talk a lot and you get to discuss your ideas. We have classrooms filled with students from many different places. By learning about the culture you can learn about the student and that's very useful for you to understand the student so you can help them in a better way. I learned about culture from all over the world and still keep in contact with some of my classmates today. With all the contact I have I may one day go to Korea, for example, or Japan because I got to meet a lot of people. I was very happy with the education I received at Greystone. I am definitely more prepared than I was before. So, I am much more confident now.

Question for you at Greystone, I have been scrolling up and down your Cambridge diploma program's description looking at the two modules: Tesol certificate and YL. Both have 27h of class per week for 4 weeks each, for a total program length of 108H per module. I was wondering if wether or not you have a practicum included in the this time frame or if you have to take it once your are eligible for it; I mean by that once you have successfully completed the two modules... If I ask this question, that is because the majority of Tesol diploma programs and practicum out there are 8 weeks in length with on top 10 hours of peers' observation and 10 hours of teaching under certified peers' supervision which make a grand total of 120H. For example, if I had to take your Tesol certificate as a standalone, we are talking of 108H, thus do we have a practicum included in those hours or do we have the option to take the practicum after...?
