Industrial DevOps: Applying Value Stream Identification to Large Cyber-Physical Solutions
Показать описание
Carl Starendal from We Are Movement presenting his talk from the 2021 SAFe Summit: "Industrial DevOps: Applying Value Stream Identification to Large Cyber-Physical Solutions" that he delivered together with Dr Harry Koehnemann,. This recording is from a recent meetup in Sweden.
The contents of the talk is based on the real-work application from helping organisations organise around value when shifting to taking a continuous development and delivery approach to creating some of the largest (and hardest) solutions in the world.
Summary of the talk: “SAFe’s current Value Stream and ART Identification workshop is an excellent approach to organize around value for IT systems. But practitioners in automotive, aerospace, defense, and other industries who build large, cyber-physical solutions struggle to apply it effectively to their domains. The current workshop’s overall structure is still relevant but requires a slightly modified approach when applying it in these domains. And in this presentation, we will show how to apply it with some slight modification based on our real-world experiences using the workshop with multiple large cyber-physical organisations internationally.”
