9-year-old girl, local journalist among 3 killed in Orlando shootings

Three people were shot and killed in Orlando on Wednesday, including a local journalist and a 9-year-old girl. Police say they have the suspect in custody. CBS2's Dick Brennan reports.

I searched up my teacher's name and found this. Her name is Monique coppen. She's an old woman who lives in pine hills. She says she had heard about suspicious activity and immediately hid. I'm glad she's okay.

What is truly disgusting is knowing that law makers who could do their best for mental health, gun reform, etc., don’t do anything. This makes me believe that tragedies like this are somehow acceptable to them. Breaks my heart and am so sorry for their loved ones
