How to customize notifications in the Nest app

Please allow us to assign different sound notifications for the Hello camera, Outdoor camera etc.!

So 2 years passed from coments here and still its not possible to do different notifications for diferent events like when someone rings a want to have different notification sound....but NO....its bul***t that google cant do that ( they can but they choose not to)

Yea this is crazy how you can't change the notification sounds for both Android or iOS versions of the app, c'mon @Google do better.

The fact that you can't assign different notifications to each camera is really ridiculous. It would have so many more applications if this was part of the app.

ON MY IPHONE, give me the ability to change activity NOTIFICATION ---TONES--- FOR CAMERA AND DOORBELL ACTIVITY. Having it be the same STUPID tone for everything from Apple News to Snapchat to Uber is STUPID and makes the notification tones

How about an alarm? What's a notification going to do when I'm fast asleep? I will wake up in the morning to the nice notification that my stuff have been stolen 6 hours ago. Nice

I’ve created 2 notification zone but still get notified when people and vehicles enter or pass outside of these zones.

Notifications on this are crap sorry but they are! "Notification type: Email" who is going to check their emails. This video is from 3 years ago and yet this is the same tech today. It would be great if you have a Nest camera and you can allow notifications to be voiced in the Nest mini but no it will never happen.

I have the generation 2 smoke detector, but my app does not have the option for notification type. I want to be able to silence false alarms with my phone since my ceiling are really high. I keep finding comments in my searches to hit Silence once the heads up alert comes through. How do I get that alert?

Can't find how to change notification on iPhone for Nest Protect. I'd never notice the default alert sound unless phone was next to me in a very quiet environment. Which is pretty stupid. You should be able to change Nest Protect alarm to any sound you want!

You can’t turn off notifications by camera - so if you want only notifications on one camera you can’t do that - it all or nothing
