I used to live in Paris, then moved to Switzerland but never heard about this band. Last year, I moved to Portugal with my Portuguese partner and one day, on TV, there was an add about concerts given by Future Islands. I was curious and I searched for their songs on Youtube... and here I am ! Since that, I keep listening to their amazing music ! Future Islands make me travel in the past rather than in the future, I'm 56 and am nostalgic when listening to such good tunes.

I saw Future Islands at Brooklyn Steel a couple years ago with a couple girls. We danced the entire concert. We danced on the street after the concert, still high from the performance. I have fond memories of that night.
