What if the sun disappeared for five seconds? Seems like a really odd question. 5 seconds isn't very long, but the sun is also so vital to everything on Earth as well as to the rest of our solar system. Even if it only disappeared for 5 seconds, that five seconds would be enough to cause some serious damage.

Yes, 5 seconds is pretty small amount of time but if it's an hour or more then that would be a problem in terms of life but yes, the gravity part is more important and can cause some apocalypse
