You know, old animals make the best pets, they may not be with you as long as when they're young but they make it twice as rewarding

I can’t imagine abandoning a dog because it got old. A dog is my family and will be with me for their entire life. ❤

I have a dog that is approaching 13 years and I told her she had to live to be at least 20. I don't know how anyone could give up a 16-year-old dog that really has a simple fix. And if they had neutered him when he was young, he would never would have had testicular cancer.

These are my type of people!! I hope the universe blesses them and all of the dogs they help and save.

Thank you for adopting Henry. You gave Henry true unconditional love. That, in return, gave Henry a reason to live, trust, know happiness. May Henry have much more time living his best life. May the foster family continue to bring love and renewed life to many more in need and always prosper in blessings.🙏🏻

The story about Henry DEEPLY affected me. How in HELL could ANYONE give up a dog after 15 years. EVIL people who should never be allowed have the gift of a dog. THANK GOD for these beautiful people who show the love and bring the joy back. XOX From Ireland

I hope Henry's former family sees this video and realizes that they walked away from so much love and goodness in this senior dog. Henry is now living his best life with a family that knows the joy of having him as part of their lives, and he'll never have a scared or lonely day again. ♥

My dog is 16.5 years old and I told her she had to live till she was 21. That's because I gave her as a 4-month old puppy to my mom. Mom cared for till she was 7. Now we've had her for more than 9 years and I told her that's not nearly enough time, so pretty please double that for us? She's had health scares this year, we even called a home euthanasia vet. Thank God for this vet - she cares more about dogs than making a buck, and she's an end of life specialist. After being in the phone with us over the course of two days, several hours invested, she finally asked me to ask Sasha if it was her time. Sasha said nope, I'm sticking with you by getting up & making a very large bowel movement - talk about the happiest mess I've ever cleaned up! Senior dogs have so much love & life to give if they're healthy and happy. We're lucky our little one is still with us. Will she make it to 21? Time will tell, but she's sleeping next to me right now & I couldn't be happier 🐾❤️🐾😂

I have a 12 yo Pittie I adopted in June. He used to sleeo on the ground, year round. Freezing Winters, Boiling Summers. I brought him home. He has shade in the summer, and 3 places to sleep. Comes inside when it rains. First time I brought him in, he was right on top of my bed 😂😂😂, wagging his tail and smiling. He plays, guards, is a good example for the other 5 dogs.

I will never understand how anyone with a heart can abandon a dog or a pet. You dear sir, are a very special person, just to look at the change in his eyes, from hopelessness to love and hope. Bless you and his forever parents .

My husband and I took in a senior dog from being put down by the owner. This was 3 yrs ago. She is full of tumors and in rough shape. She now enjoys everyday. She loves going on walks by the river creeks. She gets excited for everything. She is slowing down. We do what she likes to do❤ thank you for adopting him! A true heart❤

This is a true testament of the healing power of love! When animals and people are
abandoned ...their spirit slowly dies. With love we become healed and uplifted!

God bless the man who took Henry home. Telling this story I hope inspires others to do hospice and/or fostering. Just amazing.

My best friend was 13 and developed bone cancer . Devastated me ….
Changes to how we got him around and meds were the only option . We were told 3 months . He left us after a 16 mos and was obviously letting us know it was time . Hardest day of my life ..
Still miss him but applauded these family’s for bring an ol’ timer into their lives !
