Obviously lobster in a plastic seal isn’t an ideal way to cook and eat it, but the more that my grandmother gets older, the more I realize that accesible packaging like this has been a lifesaver for her. She used to not even buy food in glass containers until she knew I was gonna visit her that week so that I could open them for her. Her arthritis only gets worse with the years, and she just can’t open certain things anymore. She feels like she has to give up on certain foods because of this. Foods that require minimal force to open and cook make all the difference for her, since she hates feeling like she’s losing her independence.
