What I LOVE about DIVIDENDS

In this video I’ll tell you why I love dividends so much, coming from someone who retired in his 40s once his dividend income was more than his family’s expenses. I’ll end things with a jaw-dropping clip of a health insurance CEO who allegedly did some really slimy things to deny legitimate insurance claims.

Thank you for the nice shoutout. This video really does validate my theory that despite the recent sell off in the market, consistent dividend payers lessen the pain. I will never sell the chicken that lays the egg. Of course take care of yourself and family first before you can post another video. Dont feel obligated. I can always revisit your past videos for insights. Much appreciated for all you do. God bless and take care.

Money can’t buy you happiness but lack of money can sure bring you sorrow.

My wife been panicking and I told her to relax and I showed her that in the last 6 days We have gotten over 3k in dividends. I told her we are 1-2 years away from retirement so we have time to recover a little and buy more. Thanks again for another great video.

Your calm stay the course attitude really helps me especially in wild moments in the market like now. Thank you so much as always and stay well!

"Money can't buy happiness" ... Well, you buy circumstances that put you in a good position to be happy / satisfied.

Our portfolio is down close to $1M YTD. I’m thankful that I’m not under pressure to sell with my dividend income. This week’s video is reassuring during this market downturn. Can’t wait to see your next one!

I've had businesses, and I currently have real estate (stressful, btw), but I've always built my dividends portfolio in the background.

With that said, some businesses failed, real estate has its problems, but my dividends have always been there for me stress free. Another great video.

I love dividends for all the reasons you mentioned lol. Being able to sleep better at night knowing that you have that safety net is really nice thing.

Everything you shared in here is exactly why i started dividend investing. I want my kids to be left with something, and they can build upon and leave it to their kids.

The 4%/year rule also doesn't take into account the sequence risk. Suppose you started your retirement in 2007.

Been here for 5 years. A few good comments over the years 😂. Watching and listening to your videos is like relying on the North Star for navigation. Follow the dividend path people.

The current market drop is a great stress test about one’s current investing strategy. If I were retired and was living only on the 4% rule I would be extremely stressed. Dividend investing definitely would give me more peace of mind.

The When Game is similar to two things I call “The Where Syndrome.” Plus there is also the “Grandma Effect”

The Where Syndrome is usually a female thing and develops around the child’s age of three as their freedom to adventure into world increases. You go to the park with friends and at some point the wife will say Where’s Johnny or Where’s Suzy. As obviously they have ran off and someone kidnapped them and will want ransom to get them back.

The Grandma Effect usually happens when your Grandma has either too many grandchildren or great grandchildren. So you go to see grandma and when telling her hello or just talking in general she will call you every grandchild’s name before getting to yours. Sometimes you have to say your name.

I like seeing my dividends grow over the years as my drip is on. Of course When I retire which I don’t know When. I hope to live off my investments when that happens. Sadly my clients tell me I can’t retire. Which I guess Then is a good thing.

I have recently invested in VOO, SCHD & DGRO with this recent sell off. Time to buy the dip.

Like you I appreciate dividends most times. Particularly now when bottom is falling out. Will drip my positions and buy on the way down and all the way back up. Lock in some nice yields
