Hi Wes!Thanks to the lesson, I was able to feel that spring is just around the corner. Is the sap running in your country? In Japan, the yellow daffodil flowers are coming out.
Their scent makes people feel at ease. And here in Nagasaki,Japan, the cherry blossoms are supposed to be opened on 21st of this month. The day falls on the spring eqinox this year. The Vernal Eqinox Day is one of the national holidays in Japan. So I guess many people will enjoy cherry-blossom viewing from the day on in Nagasaki and other places.
Do you usually have an opportunity to have cherry-blossom viewing during this season in your country?
Have a good one with your family💮.Ikuo Suenaga from Japan.

It’s a tradition in Iran to start Spring cleaning about one month before Iranian New Year aka Norooz. Norooz means new day and it’s the first day of Spring. The celebration continues for 12 days and ends on the 13th day by spend time in the parks, jungles, and nature.

Hello, can I ask a question? Since I am preparing for GRE now, there are some words, like 'calumny', that we need to know and are definitely not suggested to use in our own writing. So I want to know that as a native speaker, what do you feel about this word for example and can you help me to understand ETS, like in what way do they want to help us, what do they want us to learn by giving us this verbal test? Thank you so much!

It's funny that galoshes are old-fashioned words; they were popular shoes back in USSR for those people who lived in the countryside.
