As for what I'm into now, huge into Dan Simmons. Does periodical fiction really well. Currently working through The Terror which AMC made a series out of.

Bottom line, women do like intelligent men (which seems to be a dying breed these days intelligent people that is) and reading books can really help in the relationship department.
