I did the same thing with a sharpie instead of buying layout dye. Good stuff man.

You are very welcome, Just remember when you do it this way to all ways turn the knife over and do it from the other side as well. Just to make sure you have the most accurate line you can get. Glad I could help..

Thanks you buddy just trying to put some answers out there to question I have had in the past.. Hopefully after I'm done with this knife people will have a better understanding of just how easy it is to make a knife with out having $1000's of dollars in tools.

thankyou coop, ive been looking at scribes and they are like 40 to 50 and now i can scribe lines, im definately using this! can i use a drill bit one size smaller, and scribe the blade, the flip it and scribe it ot make a thicker edge? for thickness for heattreat?

I hear that bro, Since I had to retire my founds are like they use to be so I don't to spend if I don't have to. This series of videos will be showing people that it can be done with out having all the high dollar tools and can be done with what most have at home all ready.
