Alan Carr Opens Up on His Childhood Through Mini-Me Oliver Savell | This Morning

Before he became our beloved Chatty Man, Alan Carr was once a time navigating 1980s Northampton as the son of a football manager, facing challenges like losing friends for being ‘too camp’. As he lays bare his childhood in sitcom ‘Changing Ends’, hitting ITV1 tonight, Alan joins us in-studio alongside his on-screen mini-me Oliver Savell. He’ll share exactly how he perfected the iconic ‘Alan voice’ and update us on the filming for the second series.

This is an exceptional- and so far, fairly underrated- show. Funniest Brit comedy since The Inbetweeners; the most heartwarming since Gavin and Stacey. And all driven by an extraordinary teen actor

I saw Italian Job where Alan and Amanda reno the 1 Euro houses in Italy.

I love the show because Alan is non pretentious, i love his voice too.

I really hope to meet him one day..and Amanda is such a sweet soul and she cares about Alan. What a beautifl friendship!
