Man I can't wait for the 4060 TI to cost $699 and have the same performance as a 3070.

Man remember when the Ti cards were the last cards to be released, and it was only for the highest end cards. Now it seems to just be an excuse for Nvidia to release only the most expensive GPU's first and completley ditch non-Ti cards.

Unwinder is a legend. I was just using Riva Tuner in 98SE to unlock the full 16 pipes of a 6800 GTO, and you can still use the software with windows 11.

I really like the idea of the flatpacked cases. If I'm already building a PC, screwing together a few panels isn't that much more work and it should make it easier to work in the case.

The only sad thing about Stadia is that _anybody_ believed that Google was going to support it for _any_ real length of time.

The dubuli case looks really good, hope it doesn't disappoint in performance.

FINALLY someone comes around to designing a flatpack case. Hope they turn out good, the POC and Dubbili look neat

The irony of those build-a-cases is that the idea of lesser assembly and smaller shipping is supposed to make it cheaper, but they're so niche that they end up being more expensive.

Thanks for the update Steve! The community would not be the same without you keeping us informed and doing your thorough investigations into potential vs actual issues. 👊

That In-Win Dubili case looks super interesting. Would love to see a review of that bc if it’s any good, I could definitely see myself using it for my next build

ITs crazy how this AMD thing has blown up so much considering it was just one repair place in Europe that had the issues lol talk about blowing things out of all proportions .

I think it's a bit unfair to say people not seating the new style connector properly are "user error" then go on to say that it's almost impossible to do the same thing with the old connector that we've been using for a decade+. This problem did not exist with the old connector, now it does with the new connector. Clearly, the problem is the new connector. I think the blames lies with Nvidia for choosing to use the new connector without proper testing, but ultimately with the standards organization that created it. There should be a more definitive "click" that fully seats the connector. It should not be possible for a user to partially seat the connector. This is a design error. Not a user error.

I like the fact that we haven't got our 4070 or 4060 yet and we are so ready to talk about 4060 ti :(
No entry cards for me i guess

Dang that rivatuner brought back memories from way back of tweaking and being able to unlock more shaders, Unwinder has been at it a long time, one of the first forums I joined was guru3d, was the great dialup days lol

So I was about to comment about the cards probably being mining cards right as you got to that part. When Der 8auer first went over it I had that suspicion to to how man there were at a single locale. Glad to know that that's ben confirmed, hopefully the people who bought them from the farm get replacements.

As with many in the comments, I too would send $10-15 EVGA's way to keep Precision updated. Question is, how do we as a community let EVGA know of this interest? Of course it's a question of of how long that would be viable for long-term support too...

I would pay a one time $10 fee for a perpetual license to either afterburner or precision.

I'm surprised that the 12vhp doesn't have screws on both side to make sure it's not fully in.

Love, love, LOVE the idea of flat-pack and modular cases. Hope these are good in execution and not just a gimmick.

Have the Cable mod cable- I make sure to hear the click and also then Keep pushing in to make sure connector is fully seated correctly. I honestly feel like sometimes I'm going to crack the PCIE slot im that nervous with making sure cable is fully connected lol.
