I loved the part where they were hugging each other that was so cute, they really are like brothers

He realizes he needs Steven, so his mind subconsciously brings him to where he locked him away to protect him during the moment of their death.

So ive wondered for awhile. Marc runs into this room that just happens to have Steven in there. Was this a subtle reveal about Steven's origin? Steven became Marc's safe place, his shield, his protection. So was he compelled to go to that room because his safety was there? Or was it just a story beat that needed to happen? I honestly wonder if it was planned that way

Oscar Isaac is so charismatic that he has chemistry with everyone he acts alongside. Therefore, it makes perfect sense that he has insane chemistry with himself while acting alongside himself.
