I love how in Oblivion the vocals go lower with time and in the new song (Nothing But Free?) the vocals go higher with time.
This really shows how the songs are in contrast and how much the character (Dream) has changed between them.

Winks’ voice control is *insane* dude! _Especially_ in Oblivion. I honestly think Oblivion is one of my favorite songs by you guys because of how well it’s produced, the lyrics, and the meaning behind it. Also the mic picked up the audio (imo) very well compared to other people singing live and belting that hard. ALSO! You guys’ raw voices are absolutely phenomenal dude and blend so well with each other. It sounds like it was recorded in a studio ngl. Love your songs and animatics, all of it is just so amazing and well produced!!!

I just love the way they both feel their songs. They really put their whole soul into it, and it's noticeable. The work behind this must be so huge ! As someone who sang Oblivion at a little concert with my singing school, I can say that Winks' vocal skills ARE amazing. And Halfy's piano skills ? Legendary, it gives me the chills. I wanna add that they are very good at writing lyrics and melodies. Always gives the right feeling, at the right time.
Finally, they know so well how to work together, it's impressive !
You have all my admiration !

I love the reason behind "Oblivion". I relate to that and now knowing the inspiration/motivation behind it, I love it even more. It feels even more meaningful, especially since I connect to it. I've created cracks in some of my past friendships as well because of pride (more specifically ignorance but close enough) and now, I regret it and I wished that I'd payed attention and been more understanding of my friends. I know my situation is different from yours, but I still love how you incorporated your own feelings into this song.
