The point was that this virus can happen to anybody. He used his family as an example... Stay away from even your loved ones. Don't go outdoors. Stop acting nonchalant about this virus!.. that's his point. It wasn't about his brother, it was about the severity and it's reality.

I didn't like this guy before i watched this video. My opinion on him is changing. Not only is he showing us his human side but he's effective at getting you to internalize the consequences of your behavior given the circumstances.
