Branch Together is an effort to bring Christians together to read the Bible every day. We know as Christians that we are called to "branch out" and reach the world around us, but first we must come "together" and develop habits that help us grow to be more like the people Jesus is calling us to be.

These daily readings maybe 4 years old but I am listening now and reading with you everyday and I know God's word is the same today, tomorrow and forever it never gets old as you learn something new everytime. Thank you BT 😊

Oh, the miraculous signs and miracles our God can do. Jesus's first recorded miracle was turning water into wine at the marriage in Canna. I have watched Jesus turn wine, beer, whiskey, and drugs into furniture, paid bills, and restored families. I want to dwell in His presence forever.

When my husband lost his job i asked God how do i pay the bills untill he has his surgerys, you see he lost his job 1 week befor he was to have his 2 surgerys i guess they could not wait for him to heal. But i asked God how do we keep our bills paid we tryed unemployment they no, we tried short disability they said no, so we came back to God again and said how do we pay our bills while he recovers from his 2 surgerys. And God said sell your stuff untill i give him his new job so we trusted God for 5 months and we sold anything he told us to sell the funny part was when we need money to pay a bill or get food we would sell just enough to do that for the price we ask for no haggling over the price they just pay it. But when we would put something up and there was no need they would haggle and it would take time to sell something thats how we knew it was God helping us. And 5 months later God blessed my husband with a job at Winco and we couldnt sell anything after that we left things up for a month after that job and nothing sold so we knew God was saying we are done but we all need to be open to what God needs us to do even if its to sell everything we own witch we did pretty much but the funny thing is we dont miss it we even sold are tv's off and never got anther one we dont miss them God blessed us those 5 months we never were hungry, our bills were paid in full all of them, and we always had gas and food so it gose to show God!! is good hope this testimony helps someone to trust God and beleve what he tells you to do he always has you best interest and heart . I have listened everyday and I've really appreciated it. There is something beautiful about the faithfulness of turning to the bible and to prayerful reflection each day. We trust that God still speaks through his word, and some days I can attest to have experienced that.

Jesus looked at that law abiding man, while knowing he would not be obedient in what Jesus had to say the scriptures tell us he felt love for him. Too many times when someone does not do as advised we tend not to act too loving. It is hard but simply put we are called to love.

I liked how it says jesus felt love for him, even though he knew he wouldn't want to give up all his possessions to follow him. It just shows Jesus's loving and caring character towards us even when we make the wrong decision

Notice that there are many things I need to change in order to not allow things to get on the way of following Jesus. Need to pray and spend more time removing obstacles.

This morning Jesus' clear teaching on marriage stuck out.
Also his invitation to be like a little child, in this culture, I think was borderline insulting.
We make our lives all about our kids now, but that wasn't true then.
