Laphonza Butler, who was a Senior Advisor to Kamala Harris when she ran for president in 2020, explains to MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell why she is not surprised to see the energy and support building around Harris’ candidacy and why she’s excited for the rest of the country to “see the star that is Vice President Harris.”

I love the enthusiasm and support Kamala is receiving but the goal is to secure/get enough electoral college votes to win this thing. She's in a good position to win the popular vote. The enthusiasm needs to be seen in those swing states. Evidence of such momentum can be measured in the new registered voters in those battleground states.

If anyone see this and either lives in Washington state or knows someone who does, Washington is currently having an election for governor, a Senate seat and a House seat, both of which a Harris administration desperately needs. Ballots are due tomorrow )the 6th) and at this point only 15% of them have been received for counting. Please remember to check your mail boxes and remind others to do the same and get those ballots in
