How to Schedule Live Video on Instagram

You can finally schedule live on Instagram. Instagram updated their entire live option with new settings, including scheduling an upcoming live video.

Simply open the Instagram app and plus the plus sign and choose live. Click the calendar icon to schedule a live video on Instagram. Add a video title and choose a Start time. You can choose the date and time from one hour from today to three months in the future. Then press done. Select schedule live video and you are all set.

I wish you had gone further. I was looking to see if once you finish the scheduling, do you go back to the live recording screen, hit record, and when you are done, it will know to automatically use the live you just ended to be the one that is scheduled, or do I need to have one made already and attach it?

I did get the scheduled LIVE to appear on my account but couldn’t create a post, I clicked the option several times and nothing happened. Also, there was no option to edit or add graphics so I am wondering how it would even show up.
