Taylor Swift & Calvin Harris Split Rumor: The Couple & Celebs React

Calvin has apparently learned from his lady love to always get the last word, and that’s exactly what he did, officially kicking the rumors to the curb.

Reports of Taylor cutting ties with her boyfriend of over 6 months came this past weekend after Calvin was seen walking out of a Thai massage parlor, which is known to be extra “friendly” with their customers, after spending two hours inside.

The rumor being absurd as it was, was first bashed by Taylor’s publicist Tree Paine, who took to Twitter to write, "I've said it before and I'm saying it again, do not believe Radar Online."

That was only the first indication the outlet had their facts completely mistaken, and it was only a matter of time until the famous DJ, who’s been known to publicly protect Taylor via social media in the past, stepped in to have the last word. Earlier today, he tweeted a not-so-comical pun along with a threat to take legal action, saying, “It's not going to be a 'happy ending' for everyone I sue for defamation of character for all these bulls--t stories bye bye."

His tweet was apparently enough to silence the headlines AND receive Tay’s seal of approval after it appeared to land a spot in her “favorites” archives on Twitter. And of course each member of Tay’s tight-knit squad always got their girl’s back, and Selena Gomez was the first to share her thoughts on the rumor.

During an interview with Bravo TV’s Andy Cohen, he asked her about the breakup, to which she responded, “I think I would have found that out. Is that a rumor? Honestly, it’s so stupid. I’m pregnant every week, Taylor’s gonna be pregnant. It’s so stupid, like you can’t really read that stuff.”

Another anonymous source close to the couple also spoke to People Magazine and said that the rumors are QUOTE "absolutely not true" and that Taylor and Calvin are happy and going strong.

So thankfully, all is calm again in the land of love, and we can keep looking forward to many more adorable Tayvin moments to come.
