Who are the four Archangels? What is their role? and Why are they even important?
You see, Arcangels form a very crucial part of God's rulership, they are the leaders of God's heavenly choirs of angels and are used by God to fulfill strategic assignments according to Bible records. The first archangel we will talk about today is Gabriel:

Archangel Gabriel:
Gabriel is viewed as the messenger or herald archangel, serving as an announcer and interpreter of God's divine will. His name means "God is my strength." Gabriel foretold to Daniel the prophecy of the seventy weeks. He announced to Zachariah that he would have a son who would be John the Baptist. Most famously, Gabriel announced to the Virgin Mary that she would conceive Jesus through the Holy Spirit. He also foretold Jesus' birth to the shepherds, bringing them the first joyful news that changed the world forever. Gabriel is very close to God and often delivers the most important messages directly from Him. He is frequently depicted holding a lily, symbolizing purity. Gabriel is also thought to communicate with humanity through dreams and inner whispers

The second is ArchAngel Michael:

Michael is considered the chief of the archangels and the leader of the army of God. His name means "who is like God" and he is depicted as a warrior and the angel of mercy. In the Book of Revelation, Michael and his army are depicted as victorious in fighting against the forces of the Devil during the war in heaven. He casts Satan and his followers out of heaven and down to earth. Michael continued to lead God's armies against Satan's forces and protect humanity. He is seen as a protector of Israel and still serves as the guardian of the Christian Church. Michael is often shown holding scales, representing his role as a fair judge and protector of the souls in paradise. Another time Michael was mentioned in the Bible is when he fought against the prince of Persia, a high ranking demon in the book of Daniel.

Raphael's name means "God heals" and he is seen as a healer of both the soul and body. Though there isn't much known about Raphael, he is considered as one of the seven holy angels, which present the prayers of the saints, and which go in and out before the glory of the Holy One." Raphael is associated with healing and he is often depicted with a staff holding a swallow over a sick person or carrying medicine. Raphael is also considered a protector of travelers .

The last of the four is archangel Uriel:

Uriel means "God is my light" and he serves as a watcher or guardian. In some ancient Jewish traditions, Uriel stood at the gates of the Garden of Eden with a fiery sword after Adam and Eve's fall from grace which makes him a cherub. He delivered messages of divine justice and hope. Uriel oversees nature and the material world, including thunder and terror. He is often depicted with a book or tablet to represent his role in bearing witness to God's justice. Uriel is known for protection against sadness and despair. He provides guidance and revelations to humanity regarding God's will.

These four mighty archangels continue to serve as God's principal messengers, delivering His will and protecting humankind. Each has distinct roles and specialties but they work together in harmony under Michael's leadership for the glory of God and the benefit of His creation. It should be noted that the archangels the Bible call by name are Michael and Gabriel.
But the is something very important you need to know here, these holy angels are God's creation and only manifest the power of God as made evident in their names, this gives us a practical feel of how powerful God is.
