I miss the Citizens of Hollywood (and Main Street - are they around any more?) I used to love taking in the vibes and the ‘streetmosphere’ around WDW but it seems to have trickled away since 2020. I feel like Universal has more random on-the-street entertainment than Disney now.

Disney is great, but live entertainment Disney style is what gives them their edge; it’s what gives guests all the feels, and we are a rides family! It is a must!

Also no air conditioning in 2 of the places people used to go in EPCOT to cool off on really hot days.

Cost cutting and it's a way to get around union rules 😢 which is terrible for cast members who love to perform

I'm definitely a rides person but wouldn't mind live entertainment once in a while. I just hate how crowded the live entertainment gets being 5ft 1in. doesn't do me any favors when a 6ft person stands in front of me, especially at Disney parades. I feel like I have to arrive 3 hrs early just to get up front to see it and in doing that I get to miss the rides. Hate it.

We saw the Frozen Sing a Long at Hollywood Studios yesterday my grandson is a ride guy and I traded I'd do a ride if he saw the show with me. He couldn't keep his eyes off the stage! He laughed so hard at the jokes that Eric and Aisha (I think that was her name) how great to have these actors at Disney. He wanted to see the next show!
They made the show! We need live talent ❤❤

December will be my 8th visit and if it's like everyone says it'll be my last. Been wanting to travel to Europe again and Disney has really been going down hill.

This is just one more reason when people are not going back to the parks now the play parade I thought that was one of the most irritating things ever loud speaker action and it just stopped you from moving around the park I'm personally glad that's gone

I love rides, but there are roller coasters a lot closer than Orlando. It's the live entertainment that makes a park special! I travel to Disney for the immersion at Animal Kingdom and Galaxy's Edge, and for the live shows, not for the latest exciting roller coaster!

Plus, this trend to more wild roller coasters seems to go hand in hand with less accessibility. Half the rides at Universal can't accommodate people who are too tall, short, fat, inflexible, or unable to fold themselves into the right pretzel shape. When I recommend Disney, I know people are going to actually be able to ride the rides and sit comfortably at the shows. Trying to compete with Universal by adding more roller coasters is exactly the wrong direction. Disney needs to focus on what makes it unique and special and beloved, not try to cut staff costs by sending people onto three-minute rides after a two or three hour wait. ;-P

Really really miss the citizens of Hollywood!! They were hysterical!! I still have the “$$”mr. big bucks gave my husband to make part of his all girl entourage! And when we saw them later in the day - still knew us 😂😂😂😂!! Had Aladdin andJasmine breakfast - they were in the parade and called our daughter ( then 6) by her name from their float - the sewer cleaners in Hollywood- so so funny !! They all interacted with us 🩷💜💚💙🐾😎

It's probably because the cast members who perform the live entertainment decided to unionize

Universal is doing the same thing it's probs about money!! People don't pay to see them so having to pay the actors is loosing money!!

The Citizens of Hollywood would be difficult. You csnnot just throw someone into the role, they'ii take perhaps years to grow into the role. Unfortunately during the closures, many were not available to return.

I hate to break it to you, Allears...but The Citizens of Hollywood were permanently terminated. They're not coming back. 😢
