For people who wants to experience high end quality with limited budgets, xm3 is still a steal. Rn it costs $100-$150 and with the xm4 release, it will drop significantly. Better buy xm3 than new budget earphones

Great video, as always, Aaron. As an XM3 owner, I have to say the sound quality is still outstanding. However, I would recommend people wait till the XM4 to see what they improve… or do not improve. We will have to see. Cannot wait till you get your hands on them to put them through their paces 😀

If you've never heard LDAC in action, you really don't know what you're missing. At the higher end of LDAC it sounds SO CLOSE to wired. The lowest bit rates of LDAC don't actually sound that great, with APT X sounding better.

I've had xm3 since they came out and have been brilliant. My favourite bit of tech. I bought the WH4 and they are a great combination. Clincher for me will be if the xm4's are water proof and if the battery life is a lot better. The sound quality of XM3 is still mind blowing with replacement buds. Look forward to your comparison review and keep up the good 💪!

Got mine "free" with Sony Xperia 5 II and using it since then. It became my to go earphone even though the battery life is a little bit disappointing. I'd wait and see how the XM4 will perform before I upgrade but I don't believe it'll come with LDAC because of its power consumption. Nevertheless I'm sure that it'll satisfy anyone if it sounds at least as good as XM3.

I recently got my xm3’s for $85 on ebay 2 weeks ago and they’re amazing but sadly the battery needs to be replaced it only last 2 hours. Imma forsure buy XM4’s when they come out!

Still love my XM3s as my daily drivers when I’m out and about. I also have the XM4 over-ears, and together with the XM3 earbuds, I feel like I have the best of both worlds. Can’t wait to see what the XM4 earbuds bring!

Confirmed: Smaller / more comfortable buds, smaller case, wireless charging, multi device connection

Potentially: LDAC, better sound quality, better microphone quality, better battery life

Xm3 owner here. I have had a long time audiophile hobby. So I mainly focuse on the sound quality when I purchase any devices. Out of all bluetooth earbuds, xm3 has the best sound quality once you fine the right eartip for your ears. I tried enough bluetooth iem including sennheiser momentum 2 and samsung galaxy earbuds.

Xm3 are the least secure in the ear and fragile earbuds I’ve owned (have had about 15-20 different kinds). Hope the xm4 are more secure in the ear or I’m passing. Wish they would put the ear part from the wf700sp on the xm4 they are super comfortable and secure
