Detecting a 'doomsday' asteroid

More money! They just waste it.. Even if something was detected nothing could be done.. The people would most likely be the last to know. While the "leaders" would bunker down underground.

The war on terror isn't going anyway because the term is too broad. It is just like the ongoing war on drugs. War on asteroids lol I like that though
