Hi Dale,

I wanted to give whoever is reading this a heads up. I’ve been publishing KDP books on Amazon and have had some success.

I recently found my books, as well as other books, being sold on TikTok Shops with the price marked up higher. I’m pretty sure what they are doing is buying the books on Amazon, which is cheaper, and then reselling them on TikTok shops at a higher price.

Because of this, I will no longer be selling any books on Amazon and have unpublished my books, which broke my heart.

I think you should do a video about this and let other authors know what’s going on with TikTok shops. This is a major problem and I don’t think a lot of authors are aware. Thank you.

What’s your opinion on Stan store? I’m just learning about this. Saw a video on PLR books. The one I purchased had so many errors and unfinished sentences! There was no way to copy and paste that book! I’ve watched videos on beacons. I’d like to ease into books. I’ve enrolled in dibbly! Even with all the bells and whistles I’m still a bit intimidated!

Brilliant video Dale! ❤ Thank you for sharing it, that is a lot of great information. On the Smashwords front it would be better to go through D2D rather than SW as with SW you have to spend considerable time in formatting the document especially the 'Table of Contents' so it can get through the MEAT-GRINDER and on a number of occasions it actually doesn't get through. However, going through D2D is much less time-consuming as there is much less formatting to do. It is all quick & easy. 😃

Can you move your KDP books to Lulu?! The issue I have with KDP is the quality of the matte hardcover books… almost all of them come damaged.
