No words to describe how grateful i am . Ave been dying to make my own fm/am transmitter to switch things wireless n have some fun but failed terribly.after watching this content, my hopes resurrected I got a revelation. do me a favour pliz, continue to the fm /am modulation part. I can now amplify my mic signal n the colpitts ascillator effectively, thanks alot

A huge thank-you. I can't even describe how helpful it is. You're a hero!

This channel is a goldmine! Not least for the realization that hard jump cuts between takes are nauseatingly annoying and short crossfades are a lot less jarring.

I wish you and this channel had been around in 1964 when I was trying to study for the amateur radio general class theory test. I finally got it but it was a stretch. Thanks for your effort in producing these videos. They will be a great resource for many years to come.

Yey! Been asking for Hartley for ages now! Thanks for answering my prayers!

You do a very good job at explaining these circuits in an easy the understand way, great work.

Aha, now oscillators are starting to make sense, this is very interesting. Thanks Sir .

As always an amazing video where the explanation is clear and effective. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

This guy is excellent. I learn more in 30mins from this guy than I did from endless lectures by lesser technicians.

Does the transistor-based Colpits oscillator consume less energy compared to the Hartley oscillator for the same output frequency?
Suggestion: Please disable the autofocus feature on the camera after setting its focus to the whiteboard.
Thank you very much.

Are thoss two inductors in parallel or series ?

The last oscillator with the opamp, could we use it as a piece of test equipment ? if we had an unknown capacitor and plugged it in then adjusted the pot until it went into resonance then back track some maths (scary stuff) and determine the capacitance. Is that practical could you get close to the right value please ? Just curious !....cheers.

very clear explanation. Thanks. but you should also explain crystal oscillation. we need it.

Emergency question....
this question is very very confusing...
I have 2 identical 12V DC 7.5Ah batteries say X and Y.
One side of a normal bulb is connected to postive terminal of X battery, and another side of the bulb is connected to the negative terminal of the Y battery.

The negative terminal of X battery and the positive terminal of Y battery are not connected to anything.

1. So, in this case, I want to know whether there will be a current flow to the bulb, and whether the bulb will glow??? Give reasons if bulb will glow, and reasons why bulb will not glow.

2. If both negative terminals are connected to the negative side of the bulb, then YES the bulb will glow. Will there be a current entering into the 2 negative terminals of both the batteries? If current flows, then will the amount of current be the same into the 2 negative terminals??
Thanks in advance.

If this guy make it tangible experment. I would be surprised for his teaching 🌹

I am very lazy, so I love watching ckt analysis. I wonder if you could do the Phase Locked Loop detector. That way I don't have to look for it and maybe get somebody unclear.

Hi their sir do you think you could make loads of videos about you covering the A level electronics course here in England. The company who makes the difference exam is called equdas and I would love if you could make videos explaining everything in the requirements for us to know for our exams .

Colpits made a „C“ coupled oscillator, Hartley made the same with „H“enrys, the sign for the coil-L. C is the sign for a capacity 😂
