If Turkey doesn't like it, then they shouldn't watch. Problem solved

I'm Turkish and i so love this song, it brings tears to my eyes and goosebumps in each listen.Sung from the heart and so deep. The song can be applied to any tragedy that might have happened in the past but still it's so very subtle and one has to work extremely hard to find any offence in this. This is a very stupid move from TRT if it's true.Nevertheless, we the people, we want to believe in peace and brotherhood. The best of luck to Greece in Eurovision 🇬🇷🕊🇹🇷❣️

We have a saying/idiom in Greece "Οποιος εχει μυγα μυγαζεται" meaning "whoever is guilty feels the guilt" :) This is a Lamentation Song, Expressing the Pain Endured By Anyone who has Lost Loved Ones, lost their Children, lost their specifies noone....it is a Song About Heartbreak due to Tragic Events. Anyone who is guilty of Any such pain they caused, naturally they may not like it....But it does not mean the people who endured the pain cannot express their Pain.

Fun fact, Turkey promotes its land for vacations as a land full of history, while they show Greek temples and monuments during the ad 😐🤔

Dear greek cousins, there' s a saying in spanish: *_Quien se pica, ajos come_* . The literal translation makes no sense, there are too many puns ("The one who feels stung, eats garlics"). It means that if someone feels addressed and annoyed or offended by something, it' s because there' s a reason. The song doesn' t mention or names anything specifically so if the turkish _se pican_ it' s because _ajos comen_, ποντιακα σκορδα, to be concrete.
🇪🇸❤️💛💙🤍🇬🇷

the song is talking about the pain of forced emigration leaving your homeland and your eternal ties to that land which never fade away... it touches all human souls... you can also take it literally about the loss of the beloved child... in any case our turkish neigbours need to understand that to accept your guilt is the first step to deal with this burden for this and all coming generations... its the first step to make wounds heal a bit... take responsibilty for you wrong doings...

As a Turk 🇹🇷, I have great love for our beautiful Greek neighbors, and this song truly touched my heart! The melody moved me deeply, and I sincerely hope she wins the competition.

Unfortunately, both our ancestors suffered greatly from wars in the past. My great-grandfather was a survivor of the İzmir Massacre in 1919, and I grew up hearing many heartbreaking stories from my grandfather. However, he never spoke with hatred, and in a way, I was fortunate not to be poisoned by resentment.

It’s saddening to see hateful comments here, but we must remember that none of us are responsible for the past—yet we all share the responsibility of building a peaceful future. That’s why I wish peace and happiness for the wonderful people of Anatolia and for all people around the world.

Sending a big hug to our beloved Greek neighbors! 🇹🇷❤️🇬🇷

It talks about loss of loved ones in general. Whoever feels guilty listening to it has his own fault.

Even though the turks committed the genocide of the Pontian Greeks, nothing is
Mentioned in the song, turks by going against this song, are admitting to the genocide that they committed, just like genocides against Armenians, Kurds, Cypriots

The song is perfectly wrapped. Whoever feels guilty and butthurt should shut up. The song is not naming anyone so the smartest thing is to not too much talk.

As a young Turk, I can say that both nations have suffered for years, and these pains have finally been put into words and commemorated in songs. Songs are universal and I am not offended by the song Asteromata. I do not think the song will be eliminated from Eurovision there is no racism. There are songs from hundreds of countries that tell of such historical events. I have great respect for songs as long as they are not direct insults to nations or racist references. The winner is already clear. Greetings from Turkey 🇹🇷🇬🇷
