A man once said that God is less interested in whether you marry than in how you act when you are married. He is less interested in the specific job you do (so long as it's not illegal or immoral) than in how you do your job. He is not as interested in whether you have children but in how you raise them. You see, the living water that Jesus talked about is concerned with how we live rather than that we are alive. That is the difference that the Holy Spirit makes to the Christian life. He helps us live by grace despite our circumstances.
