The hashish back then was most likely way more psychedelic than the concentrate we have today. We've lost many wonderful strains in the search for commercial crops. Like in the 80s it was very illegal so growers went with stealthy, less stinky plants, which weren't nearly as diverse in cannabinoids. Breeders today are going to remote locations to source long forgotten landrace genetics, so hopefully they can find some of those magical mystical strains once again.
