Figure carving tools and a dragon head test forging

The set of figure carving tools has been completed. So lets take a look at how some of these tools are used with the forging of a dragon head as a test piece for the door knocker project.

Thanks for posting this John! Seeing the tools and getting an example of the work that can be done with each is very helpful. Working on alot of tooling for myself at the moment. I got to meet and forge with Bill Epps last week. We made me another set of tongs and started a dragon head that I kinda messed up and turned out looking like a donkey...lol! Awesome experience none the less!!! Thanks again for the time you and many other take out of your lives to share your knowledge of this craft!
