Do you know The London Trocadero? Back in the day it was a palace of arcade games, cinemas and fast food: a teenager’s heaven. The entertainment center closed down in 2014 and London was worse for it, but the building will live to see another day.

As a Muslim and a long-time student in the UK many decades ago, I'm heartened to learn that Trocadero will soon be put to good use in service of the Muslim community, hopefully for many generations to come. I also hope it'll help promote better inter-faith understanding.

The thumbnail for this video however says "A Win for Muslims" which might come across as having mildly triumphalist overtones that surely is best avoided, whether in this video or future ones. A wee comment and humble suggestion. Thank you.

I can't believe I use to go here as a child and teen, that was before Islam, I never knew it would be a mesjid, I'm so happy, such a suprise. That place was dark and had a strange atmosphere, Alhamdulillah it's going to be a mesjid, it's truly amazing, when I use to go to this gaming place I never even knew about Islam, and I never knew this place would insh'Allah be a mesjid either, we just don't know the decree of Allah, subhan Allah
