When I was a twelve-year-old schoolboy back in 1970, a brand new XJ6 in bright, pillar-box red like this came silently around the corner and cruised past me. I was completely smitten...: 'that is the most beautiful car I've ever seen!' Now I own one of these in Old English White with red leather seats. Fifty-four years later and I'm still in love.

I am the proud owner of a 1972 Jaguar XJ6 with the nice trim package although it needs a paint job it runs and gets me around but it's a work in progress it has a 400 cubic inch dragracing small block in it that's the way I got the car I think they were trying to make a race car out of it so I'm getting everything working again it's a very interesting car and it seems quite friendly to work on surprisingly enough maybe someday I'll get it in the condition that ones in very beautiful car like the spoke wheels to mine has the original factory chrome wheels and I also remember when I first saw one it was the only car that actually caught my attention since I was more into classic trucks very pretty car I enjoy it

My dad owned one and I own a 96 XJS convertible....All I have to say is...Jags of nowadays are not Jags but only in name....back in the day you could recognize a Jag from ANY angle...nowadays Jags look like any other car on the road!

I'd bring in my '71 4.2 if I didn't live in Vancouver. Nice work

So beautiful.  I remember the first time I ever saw one... in Omaha, Nebraska in the early 70s.

Just bought a 2008 XJ, one of the last of the classic shape. I know the bulbous bumpers arouse mixed feelings, but mine is black and that seems to mute the effect, which in other colours does look as if the car has had too much botox. What a brilliant car though. I had a Series III and an XJ8 3.2 years ago and this is in a different league. Nimble, light, effortless performance and it's only the 3.0 V6.

Beautiful car I wonder what it would look like without the overriders front & back, I think it would improve its looks?
