I got a red card starbucks order a few months back. 5 bucks to go in, place the order, wait, and everything. I passed on that lol

You know you’ve got money when you can afford to have Starbucks delivered to you. I bet that order they are holding is worth a good $70+

Every single Starbucks order in my area is horrible. Never go there.

I’m a Sbux barista and I hate how we’ve expanded to DoorDash. I can’t ever pack the orders on time and we’re also in a similar situation with being the only one… albeit there is another store 20 minutes away and an even farther store. That being said though, we usually get overwhelmed with UE and DD orders all at once. It sucks. It’s the worst when DD runs a promo.

As a Starbucks employee the delivery system sets everyone up for failure. All of our drinks and food are temperature sensitive except for some pastries, most orders come when we’re already busy so they don’t get out the door very quick and disrupt the work flow. The packaging is fine for in store use but bad for deliveries. And the amount you get for the price isn’t at all worth it. Starbucks used to only work with Uber eats but now they’re working with door dash as well and making all the problems worse.

This is why i dont do doordash anymore, they sent you out to get in order outside of your “work zone/area”. But when you’re heading back you wont get any orders coming in until you’re back in your work area, so basically as an e.g : you’re driving 13 miles for free for an order that was between 4 - 8 dollars

THANK YOU!! Finally someone makes some sense about this. This bs happened to me too one of my neighbors actually ordered from Starbucks and we have one not even 5 minutes away from us and I had to go to one that was 8 miles away such a waste of time indeed

You literally DoorDash in my town. I tried dashing around here and feel the struggle. Pickups in Beavercreek for orders at the opposite end of Xenia for no tip lol

I did Doordarsh in dayton back in 2017, and that was MISERABLE. I once had a call for Chinese in Centerville, and it was 2 hours late when I got the call. I was in East dayton. They had the zones WAY bigger when I did it.

I use to work at a restaurant. And we use to unplug the printer at peak hours, so it doesn't affect in house customers. Prolly the reason, why only one starbucks is taking them.

I'll add to that the fact that Starbucks almost always has a long wait. If Outback can cook a 12 0z steak well done in a reasonable amount of time, why should it take 20 minutes to make a latte? Another reason for not taking Starbuck s orders is how likely it is that their coffee will be cold by the time you drive 12 miles with it.

Yeah Starbucks always takes forever I’ve learned that, and the location I get orders from has this nasty unprotected left turn through 5 lanes of traffic

EVERY DUNKIN DONUTS ORDER IVE EVER TAKEN SPILLED. My fault 100% but they need to figure out something more stable for the drinks if I can’t put them in my cup holders bruh … insane

Starting your dash while on your toilet at home is the most relatable thing ever 😂

One important note, delivery zones do not apply to customers — only Dashers. Customers can order delivery from any restaurant in any zone as long as they’re close enough to the store (15mi?) or within the delivery zone set by the store itself.

Actually had a Starbucks that made sense yesterday; $9.75 for 3.5 miles going in a direction I was traveling anyway. Was so easy $$.
Can't stand offers that are less than $1 a mile and $6.50 total as people are getting rich off your efforts and need to accept that minimum to keep sane; make it $2/mile for trips that I am not driving that mileage anyway.
