4:32 I’ve been homeschooled my whole life, didn’t have any friends irl [still am homeschooled, but I have friends online], and if you isolate your CHILD from talking to other kids at SCHOOL, that’ll just make them grow up to be perhaps socially awkward, or at the very least not know how to socialize [unless the child talks to the other kids without the mom knowing]. So uhm, don’t do that, don’t do that at all. Don’t isolate your child from socializing, it doesn’t have a single benefit at all and hell it can probably cause depression when they’re older from being isolated from people so much.

She reminds me of a mom I once met. I was best friends with that mom’s kid in elementary. Her child still acted like an elementary schooler when she was going into high school because of how sheltered she was. She got bullied for being childish. Heck that mother almost banned me from her house because I talked about having a CRUSH in TENTH GRADE. I genuinely wish the best for that kid because I haven’t seen her in two years…

I can understand if it's an instance where it's like "I'm taking your kid to the mall, maybe provide them with some cash so they aren't going to be upset that I can't buy everything for both of them" or something along those lines, like say, you TALKED BEFORE HAND about money, but if it's a regular old playdate at somebody's house?? Ain't no way I'm paying for that! that's stuff you should have readily available at your house for your own child to begin with!
