505 has one of the best climaxes to a song ever and Legendary song

I find it amazing that a band from my era still resonates with 16, 17, 18 year olds now.

that was the best "But I crumble completely when you cry" delivery I've seen from Alex Turner before live

The masculine urge to crumble completely when she cries

THEY SUNG EVERY SINGLE WORD! WOW! THAT CROWD WAS INSANE!

They will always have that awkwardness to them I think probably because they never wanted this fame. Amazing performance.

2:29 oh my, freakin GOOSEBUMPS. The way he transitioned into “and I crumble completely when you cry” along with the crowds reaction was everything! Goosebumps throughout this whole damn performance. I want to seen them live SO BAD 😭

In this arrangement, Jamie is playing the leads which he doesn't really usually do as either Alex or Miles Kane would play that part. So in the end (at around 3:51) when Alex was leaving the stage, you could see him patting Jamie on the shoulder, basically telling his bandmate that he's doing great.

They're such a killer live act. Seeing so many people sing along is fantastic.

Can't tell if Alex couldn't hear the drummer or what but that drummer had to work hard to get the timing back. Big respect to Matt Helders the drummer :)

Can we all agree that this song is timeless?

The drumming in this song is so underrated

This song has aged so incredibly well. I love every single live version of 505, no matter how it is interpreted or sung by Alex Turner (slow or fast).
Simply a timeless masterpiece. I saw them last week in Zurich.

This song has become so popular and it wasn't even a single. This to me, shows that if they released more singles on earlier albums, I can't imagine how successful they would have been.

They only ever released two or three singles on the first two albums. I think both could have been even bigger with more singles with more variety of style too.

That girl crying at the end actually made me shed a tear myself. Oh man this song and moment itself brought me the memories from the time i was broke from a breakup with my ex and i used to listen to this song alot.

Some songs you just have so long to perform before you stop resonating with them and you can't tap into that raw feeling anymore. He almost sings it sarcastically now as if all that's left is a vague sense of foolishness when he goes back to that place he wrote it from and can't help but mock his younger self.

Hearing that crowd, an ocean of people in unison, the looks on their faces, the build, the release... almost moves me to tears.

I'm so happy for their success. I'm so happy for the chance to love these songs, to live my life to them, to make memories to them. What a beautiful thing music is.

That girl crying at 3:43 is such a vibe. Would definitely be me if I got the chance to see them live and heard this masterpiece of a song.
