Excellent video as always! As a Sicilian, I'd recommend you to do a Greek Sicilian Dna test and an Arab Sicilian Dna test

My father did that test too and he is 100% iberian-basque (from Auritz, 3km to french border). Dont forget in your map that Pamplona has been ALWAYS the capital of the basque culture, Bilbao part has been always mostly castilian or other cultures, basque just in the last centuries. Last week archeologists found the most ancient basquish text till now and is just 5km to Pamplona. Agur! Gora Nabarra

I've done a lot of research of my own DNA which is Spanish and Basque and I couldn't get anything just 100% basque DNA. Your halopgroup R1B suggests you're basque Indo-European it's expected in most of the nowadays basques as I haven't seen any pure basque now. Basque didn't live isolated, mostly were farmers with other neighbours, slaves or used in military work defense, then they evolved with the rest of the Spanish people, in case of France including the south side, aquitanians lost their identity and language quicker in Roman times, apart from those basques I told you before that resisted, but probably mixed with other cultures even then. Where are you from?

Its interesting how these countries are homogenous. If you look at the map of lets say central Europe (for example Austria, Hungary and Czechia) you will see how its a total mixture of so many multiple genetic groups, much more diverse than the Basque region. And how for example Austria which is considered germanic country has a lot of slavic elements, or slavic Czechia has essentially more germanic genes than slavic. But also these central European countries have essentially everything, from nordic genes, italic genes, balkan genes, even some turkic.

So the idea that the Basque R1b came into Iberia with ancient Farmers been debunked, so how are Basques scoring almost 100% Iberian? I smell BS here!

These decimali videos depend on myheritage dna results which is mostly showing mtdna inspections. Basq people have very high H mtdna maternal linage as similar to other european people, but if we look at R1b ydna paternal linage, we can see altaic originated tyrrhenian-vasconic ancestry.

All P1, Q1a, Q1b, R1a, R1b, R2 ydna haplogroups are north euroasian originated and were speakong agglitunative languages in common before they have been assimilated by other europeans. Most of saka/sumer originated tyrrhenian-vasconic people have converted to indoeuropean languages by their mtdna maternal linages. Just Basq people remained as agglutinative language speakers in far end of europe.

Great as always! 3:57 Looks so homogenous, very west european, bruhh baltic and east med at 2 3 percents. They seems to have high WHG ancestry, literally mix of WHG with farmers with very small steppe dna

"Iberian" is very ambigious with MyHeritage. Gedmatch shows that Basques acutally differ alot from Spaniards etc. Does anybody know what those 10% Gedrosia acutally mean? My understanding is that it is something Indo-European and a certain people in North India get the biggest amount of it. But European people get it also in high numbers.

There's no way original Basques had r1b haplogroup.. R1b is Indo-European, while their language is pre Indo-European.

And the rest is history.

You know, I have always been baffled why certain people are desired, the Vikings, the Finns, the Etruscans, I don't get it.
I have seen lots of Basque samples run them through Vahaduo. They come out roughly half Neolithic farmer, half hunter gatherer. Their hunter gatherer ancestry is a mix of WHG and EHG. The EHG shows that Basques have Indo-European ancestry despite speaking an non IE language. Of course high R1b shows that also.
