I'm totally side-eyeing this one. Kelly, as a singer and lyricist herself, has never really gone past power-pop or pop-punk, and has certainly never trod ground like "Sad But True". Can she sing it? Of course. Kelly can sing a menu and make everyone fall in love with her. But just because someone can sing something doesn't mean they should. This cover wasn't her best work, and not because she "can't sing". This simply isn't her.
