I'm absolutely delighted to connect with you! In my pastel and charcoal drawings, I love to start with a strong foundation using my trusty charcoal set-24 sketches, where I sketch out the outlines and base layers.

For the vibrant middle layers, I dive into my fabulous soft pastels from Blockx or Rembrandt. They bring such life to my work, allowing me to create beautiful shadows and depth effects—and I can’t resist the joy of blending, smoothing, and shading with my magic fingers! 😁

When it comes to adding intricate details, I reach for my beloved Pitt pastel pencils from my amazing 21-set Monochrome B&W from the Faber-Castell brand collection, along with a Faber-Castell Pitt soft White Pencil for those gorgeous highlights, bright and Vibrant that truly make my art pop.

My canvas of choice? The Fantastic Special Pastelist Paper (Pastel mat Paper) with sandy surface texture design for Charcoal and Pastel drawings! It’s just perfect for preventing smudging and helps my pastels adhere and absorb perfectly and beautifully really enhancing my technique.

To ensure each piece stays vibrant and protected for years to come, I always finish off with a W&N spray fixative. I truly hope that my work brings joy and inspiration to everyone who sees it! 🔥🌹😊

That was hard to do because her face was not only in a slight profile, but it was tilted at the same time... every bit of the bead work and dress and hair was highly ornate, and most of all, the artist had to give her a soul with only her eyes and part of her mouth... OMG, that is crazy complex, and you did a magnificent job. Do you just wake up one day and decide, this is the day I'm going to be Michaelangelo with paper and pencill???😮❤😊
