Scammers posing as SunPass to target drivers

Despite a recent effort by state investigators to crack down on a persistent scam, thieves continue to pose as SunPass to try and steal money from Florida drivers.

As a retired boomer ( 67yrs.old) I never respond to an email, text message or cell phone call I do not recognize instead I delete them and if possible report them as spam. And you should do the same

Phone numbers can also be spoofed on the caller-id.. so don't rely on that either.

TBH people shouldn’t rely on phone calls, ESPECIALLY text messages about anything money/bills/etc related just ignore them, if it’s really is important, you’ll get a letter in the mail, no NOT EMAIL, a literal physical mail
