Korg PA3x Vs Yamaha Tyros 3.mp4

HI, This is my First comparison video to compare Yamaha TYros 3 with Korg PA 3X pro. Every keyboard has its pros and cons and i have judged it as per my requirement. You may or may not agree with me but this is my view and here i don't mean to offend anyone. I will upload more videos to help you guys decide which keyboard to buy.

you can change your sound from the eq on korg...you can style it however you want...and i suggest you buy a foot pedal, not just for the piano...anw, great vid and Pa3x rules...good achievement

I like the PA3x drum kits. I think are better. Acoustic guitars... I think Tyros is best. Tyros have 2 midi IN ports. Mmmm All depends your need, no?? You have both.... Thats great!! Greetings from México City.

yamaha and korg are the perfect combination.
I own a Motif XS and the Pa3X. I use them to make my own music on Cubase 6.
This means I choose the better sounding, more realistic instrument for my tracks and the upper hand goes to Korg. Whereas computer connectivity Yamaha is the master keyboard in my set up.

You need to try out the new BK-9 arranger too. Its has some real cool features on it.
Its pack with over 1700 sounds too. Has a new audio loop sync with style mode and a pianist mode too which is cool.

Tyros sounds mutch better. The piano is smoother and more plesent to listen to, and the styles and drumkits is more taste full and dynamic and realistic then the pa3x..

I wish pa3x just sounded like the tyros but I love pa3x operative system and how its hardware/software functions (easy to use).

Tengo el pa3x y el muy facil de programar, pero hay que darse tiempo para hacerlo. Al principio pense que era un teclado que no tenia mucho peso a diferencia de los yamaha, pero ahora que lo tengo puedo decir que es un estupendo teclado, con el MAX audio poseo una Ganancia excelente, se los recomiendo

The thing not mentioned is that these keyboards use digital sampling technology I would assume Yamaha uses a Yamaha grand piano where Korg may be using a Steinway

The Korg has a 'sharper' sound but the Yamaha is more authentic I think. The Yamaha could get a bit tinny. It's hard to tell with such crappy sound recording. What IS that background noise?
Terrible. When you do a demo, get it as noiseless as possible. Still, at least you get some idea of what it would sound like in the 'real' world. There is definitely a brighter sound on the Korg. It would cut through more. Thanks for such a direct comparison.

Both tyros 3 and korg pa3x are amazing keyboards but really the sound quality of either piano guitar and so on depends on the users liking you cannot say that one is better other is not and as for style creation i am sorry to say vikram but it is quit easy to make styles on tyros 3 you can check my videos out for proof if you need any help in making styles you can always ask. But anyway congratulations on your purchase of Korg Pa3x.
PS. you can use Acoustic Rock in Tyros 3 for sunshine.

Gracias a y2vikram por su tiempo, en cuanto a los teclados dudo mucho que todos los que criticaron tengan estos dos teclados y los hayan explorado lo suficiente como para hacer esta crítica tan dura, a mí me gusta más Kong aunque he tenido por más tiempo Yamaha así que identifico los Yamaha como más reales aunque no sea así en realidad, saludos.

hi/I find that the korg sounds fuller and the drums and sounds are beefier.I use it with ev speakers.Find the tyros good also but I think the korg sounds fuller.Ketron is also good

Personally, I think that the Korg has more realistic sound then the tyros. The tyros to me has the wow factor of the outer sound but does not have the realistic sound of the korg. If you were to hook them to the same sound source and tweek the sound of the korg, i think it will sound better

Just turn up the brightness to around 75 on the filter mixing menu. The piano sounds much better that way

What do you mean "because of how it is set up" if we talking about an overall internal sound and style comparision.. The tyros team have made a better and more tastefull and dynamik styles (half thanks to better drumkits) if korg 3xpro sounded like tyros in some aspects we would have a killer winn.
