1967 now it's 2024, still listening to it and it still sounds as fresh as it did then.

He was one of the best singers and guitarist in Rock and Roll history. He was fabulous and I absolutely cried when he died. His songs were popular when I was a teenager. I am so glad his music is still played today on radio stations. Now I am 74 and I still love his music. His death was a tragic and meaningless death. RIP in peace Jimi and I hope you know how many people loved you.

Loved this in 1967, still do. Love the interplay: Hendrix's gritty/visceral vocal, his stinging guitar, and the ethereal background vocals by the Breakaways.

I got this stereo 8-track tape. That’s right, I collect 8-tracks. Love them.

Just dawned upon me after 55 years that Jimi is playing both rhythm & lead guitars - very subtly. But even someone who could cover the frets the way he did couldn't do both simultaneously. What an AMAZING guitarist! Still among my top 10 favorite songs after all this time.💓👌👍

Remind me. Who was producing Hendrix at this time? I date from this period and was working for the music papers but can't remember who it was. Kit Lambert? Chas Chandler? Whoever it was has got the wild, psychedelic tone of the period down on vinyl in an accessible form. Full marks to them.

The one song where the bass is so profound and makes it one of my favorites from James Marshall Hendrix unfortunately Hey Joe is the only song he didn't like out of all his songs.
