When my home inspector showed up, my realtor rolled her eyes and said, "I'm glad I brought a book". He was very detailed, and did a fantastic job.

I almost bought a house a year ago.. Almost. It was bought & "remodeled" by a realtor, supposedly by professionals. I was only brought to see it at night, but I liked it & the location. So next thing I get an inspector and BOY was he detailed, & I would never have it or recommend anyone to have it any other way. That man found so many concerning, and out right negligent items.. Yet the realtor would no budge on an already high price that I was already planning on low balling. After the inspection I told him no thank you! Wouldn't want this house anyways. Keep up the good work!! The world deserves more people like you & that inspector!

Yeah when i bought my house i used the many small items found to negotiate fixes on the big items i wanted fixed. Houses aren't perfect, but new Houses shouldn't have more problems than 35 year old Houses

I love that when I bought a home my inspector, appliance store, former renting company, and guys at Home Depot all said they do good work.

Inspector came back and told me the house was great! Minor cosmetic issues and it was done.

Really glad there are proficient home inspectors keeping people honest for people like me who don't really know better.

I’ve been in the HVAC Industry for 23 years and I go into these NEW homes and I see the work done from all trades and I ask how the hell did this pass inspection. I worked at a guys house years ago who was ex military when he got out of the military He got a job with the county I believe it was long story short He became an inspector and started reporting what he was seeing out there and builders started blackballing him from jobs reporting him he ended up quitting, because he believed he was going to get beat up or harassed because he put on many reports How did this pass inspection? And he states that people are in the pockets of these banks, builders ect. It just pisses me off because this is peoples hard earned money and some people live paycheck to paycheck just so they could have that American dream of buying a house and just the quality of these homes is horrible, especially in Phoenix which they should be the HVAC Kings because of the heat that they deal with down there but yet I’ve seen some of the worst tradesmen I’ve ever seen then I move up to Preskett area and I see much better quality in a smaller town but you still I don’t care where you live. You’re going to see poor Work no matter where you go.

Oh, I WANT a detailed home inspector. If I'm paying this much money for something I'm going to be using for the rest of my life, I want to know that everything's copacetic, esp. when it comes to wiring and the bathroom, the roof, everything. My brother recently got a house built and because of your videos, I knew exactly what to tell him to do to make sure he got the best home made, what to look for. So thank you for your videos. You're providing a great and valuable service, and your due diligence, if it has not already, will probably save at least one family's life.

I don't care what the builder or anyone else says, they can complain all they want, I would most definitely want an inspector to be as detailed as possible! Even if I/the builder end up with a list of hundreds of issues, I don't care as long as I know the property has been properly and thoroughly inspescted! As others have said, if you don't get a detailed inspector, any problems you find yourself are your problems from the point when the inspector leaves onwards.

First time buyer. Mobile home all we could aford. We were told we had to wave an inspection save us money. Wish we would have gotten one, probably saved as more than our mortage in repairs. We only live her 2 years so far out of 15. 😖
