A lone GEVO runs long hood forward on CSX D786

Well yesterday, I was out and about around town, first going to Woodstock, Maryland to see if I could catch any trains. Sadly, we apparently just missed an empty coal train with 7 locomotives up front. However, I was able to meet SuperWorldFan360 in Woodstock, so big shoutout to him! I was later given an update on CSX Old Main Line local D786 as it was getting close to Mount Airy, and we wanted to catch it heading west. We had no clue what consist it had or the cars. Turns out, there were no cars, as when we crossed Rising Ridge Road, all we saw was a lone CSX GE that was facing backwards, so we knew it had to run long hood forward back west. This time, we decided to go to a different crossing, an unprotected crossing: Park Ridge Road. Now I would say this crossing is a bit more reasonable than Watersville Road to be unprotected, as it only has 1 train passing through each day (D786), and it always passes during the day. Plus, there's significantly less road traffic on it. As this CSX GE backed out of Willard Agri, we heard it honk its 3rd generation (or raised letter) K5HL horn, which indicated this was indeed a GEVO. This was arguably the strangest catch for me so far as it was literally just a locomotive and no cars, and it was long hood forward. Hey, a train's a train, so no need to complain, and plus we got to hear a lot of K5HL horn action as it echoed throughout Mount Airy. This local train passed by the Park Ridge Road crossing in Mount Airy, Maryland. February 5, 2021, 1:05 pm
Engine: CSX 3149, a GE ES44AH

I still think this was so cool to see. Gevos don't belong on this branch line! I guess it went LHF all the way to Frederick Junction
