Trying all Croatian and Bosnian food and drink! I'm a brit who moved to Zagreb, and i'm discovering all the treats Croatia has to offer.

Today we have Cevapi, Burek, Kviki Gric, Strukli and Cokolino!

Hello from Belgrade, Serbia. I like your videos. You are very fun to watch.
Eating ćevapi with anything else except onions and kajmak is heresy. Ćevapi with tomato sauce, it was hard to watch :)
One quick advice. If you don't want to upset people from Bosnia, keep in mind that they only call it burek if it's filled with meat, anything else is called pita.
Although, burek is originaly from Turkey and they call everything burek, our brothers from Bosnia are very strict regarding this.

Ćevapi and Ketchup!? Blasphemy!
You eat Ćevapi with onions, maybe with some Mustard or Ajvar if you need sauce but definitely not ketchup!

Čokolino is NOT oatmeal! It's made of wheat (maybe some other grains in there too.)
**You also need to prepare it with milk, not water.**
The quantity and temperature of the milk make a big difference.
Some people prefer it with warm milk at 50 degrees, others with cold milk. Quantities also matter.
If you find the right balance for you, the Čokolino will be a whole different experience!

Second - ćevapi. Don't eat them with ketchup, at least for aesthetics' sake!
Try them with ajvar, they will taste much better. Also with kajmak or chopped onion. (Maybe kajmak, before you try them with onions.)
You're new to this, so we forgive you :)

I'm not sure where're u bought all of these stuff, but whatever food(real one, not snacks) that you wanna try I would recommended to get in some good rated fast foods and bakery stores. Ofc i'm talking about burek, cevapi, all types of Balkan burgers, karadjordjeva snicla and all other. This is the way you can feel this mentality, because it is cheap tasty food that everyone can afford to eat every day.

Wtf Croatian Burek and Cevapi never heard of it 😂 This Burek look like Pitica. Burek is in circle shape and it is cut in quarters, Bosnia is most famous with its Burek where is the best Burek in Bosnia I dont know cos I dont live there, but in Serbia it is in city of Nish. For Cevapi it is Banjalucki cevap Bosnia, Sarajevski cevap Bosnia, Novo Pazarski cevap Serbia and the best one Leskovacki cevap Serbia and its Grill fest.
