NASA works on advanced composite solar sail system

NASA is working to expand our understanding of the sun and the solar system. Researchers at NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton talked about the "advanced composite solar sail system." The technology uses the pressure of sunlight to travel through space, like a sailboat uses wind in the ocean.
